VANBROS & Associates, Inc. State Producers of the MRS. ILLINOIS UNITED STATES® Pageant are proud to announce the 2009 State Pageant, which will select the Illinois representative to the national MRS. UNITED STATES® Pageant, is NOW ACCEPTING CONTESTANTS and is scheduled to take place in Dixon, Illinois, May 9 & 10, at the Historic Dixon Theater.
While the pageant is a two day event,there is only one public show which will take place on Sunday the 10th at 7:00 pm.
Join ABC AmeriCorps & Historic Dixon Theatre on May 16th for a fun family movie night! Bring the kids & grandkids out to see the family classic movie "SHREK"! The movie hits the bigscreen at 6:30pm and doors open at 6pm.
Tickets are $3.00 each
**If you bring a canned food item to donate to the local Sauk Valley Area Food Pantries, you get $1 off of your admission price!!**
Concessions will be available for $1 each item and all proceeds benefit Historic Dixon Theatre.
NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK IS PERMITTED INSIDE THEATRE.
The faculty and students from Eastman School of Dance in Dixon Illinois will celebrate their 40th Anniversary year of Dance Performance and Instruction in the Sauk Valley area. An evening of music, dance, and memories will be presented by the current and former students from Eastman School of Dance. The performances will be presented by Competition teams, Recreational classes, and many National Dance Champions.
The Dance performance will be held on Saturday, MAY 23.
