MRS. ILLINOIS UNITED STATES BEAUTY PAGEANT

VANBROS & Associates, Inc. State Producers of the MRS. ILLINOIS UNITED STATES® Pageant are proud to announce the 2009 State Pageant, which will select the Illinois representative to the national MRS. UNITED STATES® Pageant, is NOW ACCEPTING CONTESTANTS and is scheduled to take place in Dixon, Illinois, May 9 & 10, at the Historic Dixon Theater.
While the pageant is a two day event,there is only one public show which will take place on Sunday the 10th at 7:00 pm.
The Pageant Show will showcase some of the state’s most beautiful and talented married women; and, will conclude with the crowning of MRS. ILLINOIS UNITED STATES 2009. The winner will then go on to the national pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada this July.
The current MRS. ILLINOIS UNITED STATES, Laurie Faith Gibson-Aiello will be on hand to crown her successor. Gibson-Aiello is a resident of Elgin, Illinois and has spent her year promoting her platform of raising awareness of, and reducing childhood obesity. She is an amazing woman and has been a tremendous ambassador for the State of Illinois. The contestants will be staying at the Quality Inn and Suites, which will serve as the Official Host hotel of the 2009 MRS. ILLINOIS UNITED STATES Pageant. They will participate in three rounds of competition, swimsuit, evening gown and interview. This event is a celebration of women, their success and place in society as well as the sanctity of
marriage.
Tickets for this event can be purchased through the pageant office beginning April 1, at 913.381.7121 or can be purchased at the Dixon Theater box office the night of the show beginning at 5:00 pm. Adult Tickets are $40 and include a complimentary pageant program book. Children’s tickets for ages 3-12 are $20 and do not include a program. Children under 3 will be admitted free of charge.
The MRS. UNITED STATES Pageant will be celebrating it’s 24th annual event in Vegas; and, the Illinois State Pageant, in Dixon this May, promises to be an exciting and glamorous show.
